Drawing on Avery F. Gordon's notion of ghostly matters, a group exhibition in a former distillery built at the height of French colonial expansion. Through a non-anthropocentric lens, seven artists activate the site's layered history as a field of haunting — summoning alternative narratives of migration, colonization, and exile across visual works, music performances, and film screenings. The exhibition closed with a public programme of guided tours, film screenings, and a participatory distribution of an in-situ installation.

Galerie Nicolas Salloum gives mil.lieux carte blanche to bring together four artists whose practices enter — and press on — the social positions artists move through: schools, institutions, companies. Through role-play, investigation, spatial construction, and testimony, they introduce mechanisms drawn from finance, law, or education in order to put their rules to the test. The public program on October 3 extends the movement among the participants themselves.

In a 1930s building that survived fire and failed privatization to become Carbone 17, a self-governed artistic space in Aubervilliers, five artists intervene in the site's layered materiality over the course of a single day through simultaneous performances, workshops, and installations. Decay, repair, and near-wild vitality are the point of departure, not backdrop. Traces of earlier interventions remain, entering into dialogue with what follows; the presence of the audience becomes indispensable to the genesis of the work.

From Paris's rehabilitated Petite Ceinture, a research assembly gathering artists, filmmakers, and architects engaged with plural, expanded ecological frameworks. Drawing on the interconnected wetland ecologies that once structured Paris as a metaphor for fluidity and interconnectivity, the assembly fosters a horizontal support network for ecology-focused researchers based in the city.

Developed between France's second and third lockdowns, a group exhibition bringing together sixteen artists across painting, installation, and video. Taking division — the ecological fluctuation between aggregation and fragmentation — as its framework, the exhibition explores the porous boundary between human and non-human worlds, and between individual survival and collective life. Making work far from home, the artists turn ecological entanglement into a form of resistance.
